CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The following members of the 2019 Executive Committee of the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association (CRRA) and the Carolina Multiple Listing Services, Inc. (CarolinaMLS) were officially installed at the Sheraton Le Meridien: Brenda D. Hayden, president, Keller Williams SouthPark; John Kindbom, president-elect, Allen Tate Company; Jason Gentry, past president, Premier Sotheby’s International; David Deal, secretary, Allen Tate Company; and David Kennedy, treasurer, T.R. Lawing Realty, Inc. The Executive Committee will lead the 11,300-member Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association, its charitable arm, the Housing Opportunity Foundation, and the 16,200-subscriber CarolinaMLS in 2019.

During her installation remarks, 2019 Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association/CarolinaMLS President Brenda Hayden said, “If it were up to me, the word ‘Realtor®’ would be a synonym for courage because of the past visionaries who laid the groundwork for a new headquarters with great fiscal astuteness and sound investments. In addition, our Realtor® leadership had the courage to create the foundation for greater inclusion during times when it was not popular.”

Hayden closed by adding, “Realtors®, even though they are competitors, have a shared love for this community and their industry.”

Anne Marie DeCatsye, Esq., CEO for the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association and CarolinaMLS, will serve on the boards as an ex-officio member.
