Inclement Weather/Local or National Emergencies

In the event of inclement weather, national or local emergencies, members and students are asked to watch their local TV stations (Channel 3 and 9) for announcements. The Mingle School of Real Estate will be closed in conjunction with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) system. If the CMS is closed, the Mingle School will also be closed. If CMS is on delay, Mingle classes will also be delayed.


Withdrawal and Transfer Policies

Continuing-Education (Mingle School and Off-site)

Transfer Policy: If you wish to cancel prior to class starting, you can transfer to another class ONCE with full tuition credit, within the same CE season (example: July 1, 2008, through June 10, 2009) if prior notice is given. We are unable to offer refunds.

Appraisal Classes

Withdrawal/Transfer Policy:
Written notice is required for all withdrawals and transfers.

Withdrawal/Cancellation Policy prior to class starting:
If you wish to withdraw/cancel prior to class starting, you can receive a refund less a $50 administrative-service fee.

Withdrawal/ Cancellation once class has begun:

30-Hour Appraisal Classes: Students can withdraw/cancel prior to the second class in 30-hour classes with written notice and receive a refund of tuition less a $50 administrative-service fee and $25 materials charge.

15-Hour and 20-Hour Appraisal Classes: We are unable to offer refunds once class begins.

New or Veteran Agent (NOVA)

Notice is required 24 hours in advance for all cancellations, withdrawals and transfers.

Cancellation: If you wish to cancel prior to class starting, you can transfer to another class with full tuition credit within 12 months or receive a refund less a $50 administrative-service fee. Students cannot transfer more than two times.

Withdrawal/Transfer: Students can withdraw or transfer to another class with written notice. However, students cannot withdraw or transfer after the third NOVA class. Students who withdraw will receive a tuition refund less a a $50 administrative-service fee and $25 materials charge. After the third class, there is no refund or transfer.

We are unable to offer a refund for “no shows” or withdrawals without notice.

CRS Classes

Cancellation Policy: A $50 tuition cancellation fee will be assessed for registrations cancelled in writing (postmarked or faxed) seven days prior to the program.

Registrations cancelled within seven days of the program will be non-refundable.

ABR Classes

Cancellation Policy: A $50 tuition cancellation fee will be assessed for registrations cancelled in writing (postmarked or faxed) seven days prior to the program.

Registrations cancelled within seven days of the program will be non-refundable.

Real Estate Professional Assistant (REPA)

Cancellation Policy: A $50 tuition cancellation fee will be assessed for registrations cancelled in writing (postmarked or faxed) seven days prior to the program.

Registrations cancelled within seven days of the program will be non-refundable.

Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES)

Cancellation Policy: A $50 tuition cancellation fee will be assessed for registrations cancelled in writing (postmarked or faxed) seven days prior to the program.

Registrations cancelled within seven days of the program will be non-refundable.

CMLS/Technology Classes

CMLS computer classes are available at no additional charge to CRRA members, CMLS Subscribers or an assistant to a CRRA member or Subscriber. Enrollment is limited in each class. The association’s no-show policy applies to registration.  If you sign up for a class and are unable to attend, you must give a 24-hour notice of cancellation to avoid a $10 charge.
