A brief description precedes each downloadable form.
Realtor® Membership Application - Use this application to apply for Realtor® membership with CRRA. You must be an active, licensed real estate agent or a licensed or certified appraiser to apply for this membership type.
Affiliate Membership Application - Use this application if you are not a licensed real estate agent, but do have a professional interest in the real estate industry as a mortgage broker, real estate attorney, home inspector, etc. (Home inspectors may lease an Affiliate Supra Key.) Affiliate members may not access the Multiple Listing Services (MLS).
MLS Subscriber Application - Use this form if you are working for a member firm under the direction of a Designated Realtor/BIC.
MLS Member Participant Application - Complete this form if you are starting your own company as the broker-in-charge. Please read the application carefully and fill in completely.
Supra Key Lease Agreement - Complete this agreement if you need to lease an electronic lockbox key. More information about lockboxes and keys.
Designated Realtor® Member - Head of Firm or broker designated by the BIC as Designated Realtor® for CRRA
- Must hold an active broker’s license or be a State Certified Appraiser
- Principal, partner, corporate officer or sole proprietor of the firm
- Must be actively engaged in the real estate business
- Must hold themselves out to the public as being engaged in real estate
- Supervises all agents in firm
Secondary Designated Realtor® Member - Meets all of the above criteria
- Holds primary membership in another association within North Carolina
- Must present a “Letter of Good Standing” from their primary board attesting dues were paid for the year
Realtor® Member - Licensee working under the direct supervision of a Designated Realtor® member of CRRA
- Must have an active provisional broker/broker/appraiser license
- May not be an appraisal trainee
- Must be actively engaged in the real estate business
Secondary Realtor® Member - Meets all of the above criteria
- Holds primary membership in another association within North Carolina
- Must present a “Letter of Good Standing” from their primary board attesting dues were paid for the year
Non-Member Licensee - This non-membership category is authorized by the National Association of Realtors® to name those active real estate licensees who work for a Designated Realtor® (DR) but have been allowed by their DR not to pay dues or become a Realtor® member. These licensees may practice real estate and subscribe to the MLS, but are not permitted to use the term Realtor®. All actions of the non-member are the responsibility of their DR.
Affiliate Member - An individual who has a professional interest in real estate (mortgage banker, home inspector, real estate attorney)
- Cannot engage in general brokerage (selling or listing of real estate)
- If a real estate licensee, must be on inactive status
- Membership transfers with individual from one place of employment to next
- May not join the MLS
Corporate Affiliate Member - A company who has a business interest in real estate (mortgage lender, law firms, banks)
- Cannot engage in real estate brokerage (selling or listing of real estate)
- Company holds the membership, not the individuals who work there
- May fill a vacant affiliate membership within the company for a reduced fee
- May not join the MLS
Member Participant - Head of firm or Designated Realtor®
- Must be a principal, partner, corporate officer or owner of firm
- Supervises all agents in the firm who utilize MLS services
- Is responsible for paying MLS fees for themselves and all subscribers in their firm
- Pays a Member Participant set-up fee
Subscriber - Licensee with a firm who operates under a Member Participant or Certified Real Estate Appraiser
- Pays a subscriber set-up fee
Non-Member Licensee - Licensee with a member firm who is not a Realtor® member of the association
- Pays a subscriber set-up fee
