Every North Carolina licensee is required to take eight hours of continuing-education (CE) classes by June 10 of each year (four hours mandatory update and four hours elective of your choice) to remain on active status. If you are the designated broker-in-charge (BIC), you must also take the 2008-2009 Broker-in-Charge Annual Review Course (BICAR). This is a four-hour elective course that must be completed by June 10, 2009, by ALL BICs who were designated prior to July 1, 2008, and who wish to remain a BIC as of July 1, 2009 for the 2009-2010 license period. This course will count as an elective credit. All BICs still must complete the annual mandatory Real Estate Update Course that all licensees must take each year as part of their eight hours of continuing education (CE) to be on active status the following license year.
Transfer Policy: If you wish to cancel prior to class starting, you can transfer to another class ONCE with full tuition credit within the same CE seaon (example: July 1, 2008 through June 10, 2009) if prior notice is given. We are unable to offer refunds.
Please be prepared to show your N.C. Real Estate Pocket Card at check-in.
