Workforce Housing Fair
Each year the Workforce Housing Fair provides information on workforce housing, educates potential housing consumers and struggling homeowners, provides an opportunity for education and networking for local Realtors®, and continues to create ongoing awareness of local affordable-housing issues.
The 2009 Workforce Housing Fair was held on Nov. 7, noon-4 p.m., at the former Afro-American Cultural Center building adjacent to Little Rock AME Zion Church in downtown Charlotte. Some of the day's highlights included: more than 25 exhibitors on-hand to provide information about homebuying, refinancing and affordable mortgages; free education sessions held throughout the day; hot dogs and kids' activities; and much more.
Read about the 2009 housing fair in the
association's press release
