Charlotte Regional Realtor® Assocation (CRRA)

The Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association (CRRA) is a trade association that leads, educates and equips members to be productive.

CRRA is the parent entity for Carolina Multiple Listing Services, Inc. (CMLS), The Mingle School of Real Estate and the CRRA Housing Opportunity Foundation (HOF). There are three boards of directors: CRRA Board of Directors, CMLS Board of Directors and HOF Board of Directors. The individuals serving on these boards are members elected by the membership.

Being a Realtor® means committing to the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) Code of Ethics for conduct that exemplifies the highest standards of the profession. CRRA's Grievance and Professional Standards committee members are trained in ethics and arbitration and are responsible for enforcing the code of ethics. CRRA works with many other organizations to keep Realtors® informed on equal opportunity, and fair-housing laws and issues.

CRRA is active in its communities in many ways. Realtors® are advocates for homeownership and for keeping such ownership affordable and within the reach of the greatest number of Americans possible. CRRA's advocacy efforts, facilitated by the Realtors® Political Action Committee (RPAC), ensure that the voice of homeowners is heard on crucial issues such as environmental legislation, zoning changes, tax initiatives, transit and road issues, and growth policies.

Realtors® also give back to their communities through HOF, the charitable arm of the association's membership. The foundation provides support and funding on a charitable and educational basis for housing opportunities for all. The foundation encourages homeownership and Realtor® education through the Workforce Housing Certificate Program.

Through member events, Realtor® Reflections magazine, weekly eHeadlines and Broker-In-Charge News, Year In Review and a comprehensive Web site, CRRA keeps members and the public informed on real-estate related issues. Member events, which provide networking opportunities, include the Realtor® EXPO, RPAC's Spring Fling, Speaker Series, Broker-in-Charge Briefings, the CRRA Candidate Fish Fry and the Installation & Awards Gala, in addition to CRRA and CMLS orientations for all new members.
