CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association and Pappas Properties are pleased to announce that they have closed on the first phase of a high-density, mixed-use development in Midtown.  Phase one involves 3.8 acres of the overall 5.2-acre approved site.

The initial phase will consist of an extension of Pearl Park Way and Berkeley Avenue to the construction of a new headquarters for the Association and the Mingle School of Real Estate.

The land closing represents the first in many steps toward transforming this area into a walkable pedestrian-friendly enhancement with coordination of land use, open space and much-needed transportation improvements for the area.

“We look forward to working with Pappas Properties, Little Diversified Architectural Consulting and our general contractor Myers Chapman to transform this site to better serve our members and students as well as benefit the community,” said Association/CarolinaMLS CEO Anne Marie DeCatsye. “Additionally, we want to acknowledge the work of Roger Cobb and Grey Poole of Selwyn Property Group who represented us in the transaction.”

Selwyn Property Group will continue to provide consulting services to the Association during the planning and predevelopment process for their new headquarters building.
